Mogras in the hair, gajras on the head, dhoti skirts. None of this is new. Women in India have been doing this for years, long before it became aesthetic. This shoot is a homage to that. To the women who set the standard without knowing they were setting a standard. A dialogue where tradition and fashion meet and history finds new form in the present. Not a revival. A recognition.
